Grant Higgo and Brix von Kessernich
My GSD, Brix von Kessernich, suffered a gastric torsion in March 2008. Fortunately for me and my dog I saw the signs early and rushed him to my Vet. His life was subsequently saved from a particularly serious bloat.
My Vet advised me to allow my dog to dictate the pace of his recovery and to monitor the situation closely. Brix has since made a complete recovery and during the past 4 months has gained his Schutzhund 1 and SchH 2 titles.
